The benefits and disadvantages of collaboration

There are a lot of benefits of working together in a group. One of the benefits is splitting the project in parts so each member of the group can participate. Also if writing a group essay it’s easier to get the groups ideas and only one person has to write it but everybody has to work together. Working in groups also gets the work done faster depending on the project. But some of the disadvantages of working in group is that one of the member won’t put their part in and then someone else is stuck doing double the work. Say if a group member doesn’t show up for presentation then the whole group gets messed up and ends up getting points taking away because that one person I hate that.
