Does family shape one's identity? How? Why?

Paragraph 1:
Intro: Meaning of family
Thesis: “You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them.” Says thinkexist.com because in my opinion we are we our family is, because they raised us and we have a part of them.

Paragraph 2:
One’s identity from the family
How we get our identity from them
Talk about how my family gave me my identity

Paragraph 3:
Why we get our identity from our family

Paragraph 4:
Compare my identity to Sarah’s identity in “Shooting Dad”
Similarities of my identity to Sarah’s identity

Paragraph 5:
Conclusion: restate part of my thesis and put in my last opinion

  1. Our outlines are pretty much exactly alike haha. I think you might want to talk about why we get our identity from our family into paragraph 2 and put how your family gave you your identity in paragraph 3 because I think it would flow a little better and I think someone would have more to talk about writing on how they personally were effected by their familys.

  2. I REALLY like your quote you put in the beginning of your essay. I totally agree with that and really value that in my family. I like how your going to compare your identity to Sarah's identity in paragraph four. Good start! Looks like its gonna be a good essay!
